The High Commission of India in Seychelles feels privileged to welcome Dr. Lalita Sancheti as the teacher of Yoga and Indian Culture in its Mission in Victoria-Mahé. Dr. Sancheti is a highly qualified Yoga Professor and is a QCI Certified Level -2 Yoga Professional by Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. In addition, she holds certification from internationally acclaimed, Art of Living. She is also a Certified Pregnancy Yoga Instructor and a Certified Pranik Healer. In addition, Dr. Sancheti has translated various books and material on Indian Culture, Yoga & Jain religion from English to Hindi language.

Dr. Sancheti specializes in Pregnancy Yoga (Lamaze, Musical Meditation with Colour Therapy, Garbh Sanskar – Mantra Chanting, Breathing Techniques, Pre and Post Natal Diet Consultation, etc.). Apart from this, she also specializes in traditional as well as modern Yoga techniques such as Hath Yoga, Pranayama, different kinds of Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Mantra Chanting, Preksha Dhyaan Prayoga (Anupreksha, Antaryatra and Leshya), etc.

The Indian tradition of Yoga first codified in Yoga Sutra of Patanjali in third century CE constitutes the world's earliest and most influential text on the practice of Yoga. Yoga is an invaluable gift of India to the World. This practice embodies unity of Mind, Body, Heart & Soul; thought & action; restraint & fulfilment; harmony between man & nature and a holistic approach towards health & well being.

The High Commission of India Victoria, Seychelles welcomes you all to the inauguration of the ‘Free Yoga Demonstration cum Workshop’by Dr. Lalita Sancheti at the Vivekananda Yoga Hall in the High Commission of India premises on 15thDecember 2017.

Timing & Themes:

Yoga for Concentration & Mental Stamina – Children & Teens from 4 to 5 PM

Yoga for Working professional & Women from 5 to 6 PM

Yoga Open Session for all age groups from 6 to 7 PM

All the Sessions are Free and are open for General Public. People are advised to bring their own yoga mats while coming for the sessions. One can also attend multiple sessions.

The Indian High Commission also welcomes proposals for conducting Free Yoga Demonstrations cum Workshops in Schools, Colleges, Medical Centers and Old Age Homes. All such proposals may kindly be addressed to hoc.mahe@mea.gov.in
